FRANÇOISE COLLIN
Editor’s note: Collin edited five major films of Godard but she’s virtually nonexistent online, nor are there any pictures of her online or at the Cinematheque Française. (There’s a famous French philosopher with the same name, which causes people to think the online images are of the editor, but they’re not).
She is one of the many reasons why I created this website.
In any case, the article by Shattuck doesn’t make any direct reference to Collin’s editing practices but outlines many aspects of Pierrot le Fou that could be attributed to her editing.
